e620 buzz takes back seat to Olympus Pen E-P1
Expect the online buzz about the Olympus e620 to move to the back burner the next few weeks. Today (15 June 2009) Olympus unveiled its new micro-four-thirds camera, the Pen E-P1.
Olympus’s announcement says it’s “Not a point and shoot. Not an SLR. It’s a Pen.” Judging from the photos on Olympus’s site it’ll come with a 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 lens. Also available is a 17mm f2.8. And the price? $799 for the camera with 14-42 kit says Oly. A bit less for body only. And $100 more for the camera with 17mm.

Olympus e620 Reviews Roundup - Update 06 Jul 2009 »

It looks to me like a cute toy.
Small size is great but I like my DSLR.
Plus what do you do in bright sunlight when you cant see the screen.
I had a point and shoot and frankly don't like holding the camera at arms lenght to compose the picture.
It will be great for some. Just not me.
