Privacy, Monsters and Oceanic 815
"Keep it secret. Keep it safe." -- Gandalf the Grey
Look, here’s the deal… it’s real simple:
The last thing I want in my mailbox is more spam. You probably feel the same way. So you’ll never get any from here, or from anybody who advertises on this site. That’s a promise.
I do like to know what people are reading on the site, what they like and what they don’t like. So, yeah, the site uses cookies to track popular pages, articles and links. But they’re only temporary; nothing about your particular browsing habits is stored anywhere.
As far as your identity goes, you may as well be a ghost because your visits here are completely anonymous… unless you post a comment. And although your email is required when posting comments, it’s never published. So nobody can harvest it to send you junk mail.
By the way, all comments are moderated, so don’t waste your time trying to post comment spam here. Nobody will ever see it.
Links to your website (if you have one) are published on your comment. But I assume that’s okay with you. Why else would you have a website if you didn’t want people to know about it? But just in case you don’t want any visitors from here to drop by, just leave the “website” field empty when you post your comment.
And that’s it! No obscure legal mumbo-jumbo. Just plain and simple “we ain’t gonna spam you and we don’t care who you are.” All I care about is that you enjoy the site.
And if you don’t — if you have a problem or a complaint — please let me know about it. Just use the comment form at the end of any article. Or use the form on the Contact page (when I get it installed).
Thanks for visiting! I’m glad you’re here and hope you’ll tell a friend about the site.
Namaste!
